Hello everyone! They call me Retro. Been around since '75, started collecting SW/VSW back in 1999 after the release of EP1. As much as I can remember being back in the 80's as a little kid buying Joe's & SW at Kaybee my strongest memories are from rekindling that nostalgia feeling after the release of EP1 and going to Kmart and picking up all the toys! Small break in collecting SW as I dabbled in Comics up until around 2015. Anyways, my main love and focus went back to SW and after a few years in the collecting I discovered pre-pro and I love it so much. The history and very few pieces that are few and far between make the hunt that much greater than collecting regular production.
So while my main focus is VSW I have one love for the modern 2004 animated Tartakovsky Clone Wars line. I mainly focus on Imperials and Sith related pre-pro with the main main focus being of the Emperor.
Here is the current list:
Modern: 2004 Clone Wars Animated Tartakovsky (only) production and pre-pro. Currently I own first shot non dated Dooku, Padawan Anakin, Obi-Wan, & Mace Windu. I am always looking for any other FS from this line.
VSW: FS Tie Fighter Pilot, FS Imperial Commander non-production colors torso/head, FS Painted ATAT Commander (only two in pop report graded), FS Emperor, TFP Revenge Proof, Imperial Commander Revenge Proof, ROTJ Emperor Proof.
Cheers!
Hi everyone –
I've been collecting Star Wars since 1992 (30 years) and vintage Star Wars prototypes since 2006. I’ve been very focused on vintage over the years and only dabbled in modern prototypes until more recently. Over the past few years, my modern prototype collection has exploded.
My modern prototype interest is dominantly focused on the 3-3/4" lines released between 2005 and 2013. I personally loved this era of Star Wars content and collectibles. It was made even more special because I could share it with my son (Harrison), who was 5 years old when Revenge of the Sith (ROTS) was released. Harrison grew up with ROTS, The Force Unleashed, and The Clone Wars (as well as LEGO Star Wars), and continues to be a passionate and knowledgeable fan of the Star Wars universe. Together, we’ve shared many great Star Wars experiences and I’ve been able to enjoy and relive the discovery of new Star Wars content, with and through him.
While I tend to not have much competition for Episode 3 prototypes, my other areas of interest more than make up for it. Star Tours and The Force Unleashed did not have the breadth of figures other lines did so they are tough to find. For The Clone Wars, there’s heavy competition, especially for key characters.
If you’re selling any prototypes (2D & 3D) for the following lines, please message.
Thank you. (elling.haug@telus.net)
- Episode 3, all characters (any series)
- TCW, all characters (2018-2013)
- Star Tours
- The Force Unleashed
*** Special interest in Anakin, Obi-Wan, R2-D2, Cad Bane, Rex, and Cody!
Hello! I’m Clifton Boggs, I owner and operate Happy Pappys Action Figure Extravaganza in downtown Canton, Ohio. I collect vintage Star Wars and many other 80s TV and movie lines. I really enjoy knock offs and the odd ball stuff.
I started collecting preproduction modern Star Wars. Because I never thought I could afford vintage.
My preproduction focus:
•Clone Wars (2008-2012) •Black Series
•Force Awakens
