Star Wars Tauntaun with Luke Skywalker Power of the Force, 1997

Unproduced Tauntaun with Luke Skywalker Prototypes

In 1997 Kenner introduced a line of action figure creature sets.  Tauntaun with Luke Skywalker in Hoth outfit was one that had some major rework.  Early first shots of the this figure set turned out much larger than planned.  Both the figure and creature were retooled to to better fit with the rest of the 3.75" line.

Luke mainly had retooled legs to bring him to scale.  However, the size difference with the Tauntaun required retooling nearly every piece of the body.
