Kenner originally planned to rerelease Boba Fett’s Slave I along with two additional ships so children could recreate the space battles from the Shadows of the Empire storyline. While Dash Rendar’s Outrider ultimately made it into production, Prince Xizor’s Virago never advanced beyond development. Despite this, foam mockups of the ship and several conceptual package designs were created during the planning stages.
