Unproduced Mas Amedda CommTech 2 Prototype Mock Up Figure

Hasbro originally intended to release Mas Amedda as part of the Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace basic figure assortment. The figure was designed to include the second-generation CommTech chip, which featured "Twice the Speech." However, when the CommTech chips were discontinued, the figure was ultimately released in the Power of the Jedi collection with a Force File insert instead.

Fun Fact:

Working prototype CommTech chips were developed for #54 Mas Amedda.
