Star Wars Chewbacca (Flocked) Power of the Force, 1995

Kenner created a "flocked" Chewbacca as an early concept for the first wave of Power of the Force figures in 1995.  The above mock up engineering pilot offers a good look of what this figure would've looked like.

 

Other prototypes of this figure reveal different shades of flocking created for this figure.  Ultimately this concept was cancelled and the figure was released with a standard painted plastic finish.
