Star Wars Minted Coin Conceptual Mock Up Power of the Force, 1998
In 1998, Kenner introduced a series of action figures to include a collector coin much like the coins released in the mid 1980s. This series was known as the Millennium Minted Coin series and each coin came finished in gold instead of silver.
Early concepts for this series were based on a single-figure cardback as shown at the top of this page. However, the final packaging design included a window box to better showcase the coin and action figure stand.

Fun Fact:
The coin was made re-using the original POTF obverse die, but with the copyright date filled in. The back of the coin featured all new artwork to commemorate this new series. Here is an example of a preproduction coin without the gold finish.
