Princess Leia Collection Proof Card

In 1997, Hasbro released a series of action figure two-packs to include Princess Leia and other companion figure.  Each Princess Leia figure was uniquely created based on a particular scene of Star Wars.

This early concept model was created to pitch the line.  Each figure was hand-made using other existing figures.  The R2-D2 features a working pop-out feature.  When the top of the dome is pressed, the Death Star plans pop out from the front of the figure.  Princess Leia has roughly carved out legs, but has a much improved look compared to the 1995 carded release.
